Tigran has already undergone the genetic testing needed to determine the cause of his immune system disorder, but no mutations explaining the course of the disease were identified.
He is currently receiving preventive antimicrobial treatment, during which no new bacterial infections have been recorded.
Doctors are also planning to perform a functional assessment of neutrophils using the DHR test, which is not available in Armenia. The test will need to be carried out in Russia with the child present.
