A thank you letter from Camila’s mom to you!

Sometimes in life, simple human kindness becomes more precious than anything else. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the donors of the IMAST community for giving my 9-year-old daughter, Camila, who has achondroplasia, the chance to undergo another life-changing surgery in Saint Petersburg.

Thanks to your support, Camila now has Ilizarov devices on both shoulders to lengthen her arms. This will greatly improve her quality of life and help her achieve one of her dreams. While the journey hasn’t been easy, with a second surgery and complications affecting her left arm, we remain hopeful and optimistic for the future.

Your generosity gives us strength and hope for a brighter tomorrow. Thank you for standing by us and helping to create a better future for Camila and children like her.
