Meet 7-year-old Meruzhan. He is in first grade, loves his school, and especially enjoys mathematics. Meruzhan also loves playing chess, practicing karate, and playing the dhol, and he already dreams of becoming a soldier one day.

In 2024, Meruzhan was diagnosed with bronchial asthma. He is under the supervision of the Republican Pediatric Allergology Dispensary and regularly receives Symbicort.

However, despite his current treatment, the disease has been progressing in a severe way. Over the past year, Meruzhan has been hospitalized several times in the intensive care unit because of asthma flare-ups. These episodes can be dangerous for him and require more careful and continuous treatment.

Given the severity of his condition, doctors consider it necessary to add Omalizumab to his treatment. This medication can help bring the disease under better control and reduce the risk of severe attacks.

The total cost of six months of treatment for Meruzhan is 840,000 AMD. His family is unable to cover this amount over such a long period of time.
