About
Anahit is 38 years old and lives in Tsovak village in Gegharkunik. She is a trained accountant, but due to the lack of jobs in the village, her daily life has become limited to rural routines.
She loves village life, yet sees no prospects. Anahit believes that the lack of opportunities forces people to leave rural communities, while those who stay are often unable to unlock their potential, take initiative, and create.
To bridge this gap, the Harehas program was created — an educational center where community members learn to
-
understand the challenges of their village,
-
analyze the root causes, and
-
jointly build realistic, practical solutions.
The program includes:
-
continuous educational courses,
-
development of projects based on community challenges,
-
creation, co-design, and collective celebration of a village development strategy,
-
formation of a community-based development mentor-leader.
All activities of the Harehas program are dedicated to the sustainable future of Armenia’s villages.
By donating today, you invest in a process whose impact will remain in the village for years — because when knowledge is born in a village, a future is born with it.
Donate today and become part of Harehas.
