About

Many of you may remember little Roza from the photo. A few months ago, thanks to your support, we were able to help her receive the treatment she needed and overcome her illness.

Sadly, Roza has recently developed a fever again and has been feeling generally weak. She was taken to her local clinic, where blood tests showed pancytopenia — a drop in several important blood cell counts.

Because Roza had previously been treated for visceral leishmaniasis, she was immediately referred to a specialized hospital. Further examinations confirmed a relapse of visceral leishmaniasis.

Visceral leishmaniasis is a dangerous infectious disease that can become life-threatening if the right treatment is not started in time. Roza now urgently needs AmBisome, and the total cost of the medication is 250,000 AMD.

Roza is the third child in her family. She has two older brothers who love her deeply and care for their little sister with great tenderness.

At this stage, all of our support is deeply important for Roza and her family. Let us stand by little Roza once again and help her receive the treatment she urgently needs.
