About
Davit and Hakob are 16-year-old twin brothers who have been going through the difficult journey of surgeries and long-term treatment together since early childhood.
When they were just one year old, they were diagnosed with cerebral palsy and spastic quadriplegia. Since the age of three, the brothers have been receiving treatment at the Noragyugh Republican Rehabilitation Center.
In 2023, Hakob underwent hip surgery with implant placement, as well as a tendon release procedure in the knee area. That same year, Davit underwent tendon-lengthening surgery, and in July 2026 he had another operation to correct a foot deformity.
Today, under the state-funded program, the brothers receive physiotherapy once a year at the Ararat Health Center in Jermuk. However, after numerous surgeries, they also need long-term and continuous rehabilitation therapy to preserve and, as much as possible, further develop their motor abilities.
Because of financial difficulties, the family cannot cover the necessary treatment on their own. Davit and Hakob’s mother does not work, as she is fully occupied with the brothers’ daily care.
Let us help Davit and Hakob continue the rehabilitation treatment they need and make sure their family is not left alone on this long journey. Every contribution matters in helping preserve the brothers’ mobility and quality of life.
