This is little Yana. She will soon turn 6, but because of serious health challenges, she is unable to live the full life a child her age should have.

Yana has global developmental delay. Her parents first noticed that something was wrong when she was only 6 months old. Since then, she has been under the care of a neurologist and has been receiving the treatment she needs.

From the age of 8 months, Yana has also been undergoing rehabilitation therapy. But because of the family’s difficult circumstances, it has not always been possible to provide this care consistently. Today, Yana still cannot do many things on her own and continues to need constant support and attentive care.

She is also currently receiving anticonvulsant treatment. Over the past year, she has developed additional respiratory complications, including a productive cough and airway colonization caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Because of this, Yana was hospitalized and received the necessary treatment. She now urgently needs inhalation therapy with Tobramycin, which costs 300,000 AMD. Unfortunately, her family cannot afford this essential medication on their own.
