53-year-old Siranush is known in her village as a hardworking and welcoming woman. Over the years, she built a large household farm with her own hands: she raised cows, pigs, and chickens, cultivated the land, grew vegetables, baked lavash in a traditional tonir, and made cheese. This was the main source of income for her family.

Two years ago, however, Siranush’s life changed dramatically when she was diagnosed with cancer. To get through the long and difficult course of treatment, she had to sell all of her livestock and use the money to cover her medical expenses.

Today, Siranush has overcome the disease. She still undergoes the required regular examinations and medical checkups, which she now pays for herself. Most importantly, she is ready to return to the life she was forced to leave behind because of her illness.

Siranush does not simply want to receive help. She wants to work again, rebuild her farm, raise animals, cultivate the land, and support her family through her own work.

The goal of this fundraiser is to help Siranush rebuild her farm and once again have a stable source of income.
