About

The family of Davit Hovhannisyan, who was killed in the 44-day war, continues to live with the pain of an irreparable loss.
Today, Davit’s mother, Karine, is facing a new and deeply difficult battle — a battle against cancer.

The loss of her son and the тяжесть of everything she has endured have had a serious impact on Karine’s health. She has been diagnosed with hormone receptor-positive breast cancer with lymph node involvement.

Over this period, Karine has already gone through several difficult stages of treatment, including surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and more. Throughout the entire course of treatment, the family has done everything within its power.

At this point, Karine urgently needs Ribociclib, a medication used in the treatment of hormone receptor-positive breast cancer that helps prevent the disease from progressing.

According to medical guidance, she must take this medication continuously for three years, without interruption, because any break in treatment could put the results already achieved at risk and affect control of the cancer.

One month of the medication costs around 300,000 AMD.
Within the framework of universal health insurance, only about three months of medication are provided.

The family no longer has the means to continue this life-saving treatment on their own.

The mother of a fallen hero needs all of our support to continue her fight for life.
