Roza has been living with epilepsy since she was just 8 months old. Over the years, she has received numerous anti-epileptic medications, but the seizures continue to recur 2–3 times a week, while nighttime seizures occur almost every day. During a 24-hour EEG examination, 7 seizures were recorded in just one day.

Doctors are now trying to determine whether surgical treatment could be an option for Roza, potentially significantly reducing her seizures and improving her quality of life. To assess this, she needs to undergo a Wada test and a PET scan.

The family is socially vulnerable and cannot fully cover the cost of the examinations. The Wada test is not reimbursed, while only 50% of the PET scan cost is covered.
