About
Elen will soon turn one. She is the only child in her family.
She can already sit on her own and happily responds when she hears her name. But a serious health condition has disrupted the carefree childhood she deserves.
Elen has been hospitalized since June 22 with a fever of unknown origin. She has undergone numerous examinations and received different treatments, but the fever has continued. The tests also revealed a sharp increase in her ferritin levels, which has become a serious concern for her doctors.
Her case has also been assessed by an allergist and a rheumatologist. Given the prolonged fever, skin rash, pronounced inflammatory activity, and hyperferritinemia, doctors suspect an autoimmune disease with a high risk of developing macrophage activation syndrome. This can become a life-threatening complication.
Doctors are also considering the possibility of incomplete Kawasaki disease, which can only be confirmed or ruled out based on how the illness progresses and whether its characteristic clinical signs appear.
At this stage, Elen needs treatment with Octagam. The total cost of the treatment is 1,152,000 AMD, an amount her family cannot afford.
Today, Elen needs the support of all of us.
Your donation can help her receive the necessary treatment in time, overcome this difficult stage, and return to the joyful everyday life of a little child.
