About

Anzhela is a 27-year-old young woman from the Ararat region who has lived with cerebral palsy since childhood—a life challenge she faces with patience and unwavering determination. She has a second-degree disability and receives state-funded physiotherapy sessions twice a year.

For years, Anzhela could walk only with the help of a walker. But in 2024, after five years of continuous therapy and effort, a miracle happened—she walked outdoors for the first time without her walker. It was a deeply emotional moment for her, her family, and even her doctors.

She has already undergone rehabilitation therapy at the Armenian Red Cross and at national and regional centers. However, she has used her two state-funded slots for the year, and her progress now depends on a 23-day physiotherapy course at the Charentsavan Rehabilitation Center. The cost is 381,000 AMD—a sum her family cannot afford.

Doctors believe full recovery is possible—but the path ahead remains difficult.

With your support, Anzhela can continue her journey and preserve the progress she’s worked so hard to achieve. Every donation brings her one step closer to walking freely and living independently.
