The boy in the photo is Grigor, whom many of you already know well. Thanks to your support, we have been able to provide him with life-saving medication and essential treatment several times. Grigor continues to fight a number of serious illnesses with remarkable strength.

In 2023, he was diagnosed with severe juvenile dermatomyositis. He later also developed osteoporosis and spinal deformities, including compression fractures of varying severity.

Since his diagnosis, Grigor has undergone long and complex treatment involving several stages. At present, he is unable to walk, spends most of his time lying down, and experiences severe pain and significant limitations with movement.

Since March 2025, Grigor has been receiving Xeljanz. The treatment has helped stabilize his condition to some extent, but it remains serious.

Grigor’s current condition was also discussed with a renowned Swiss pediatric rheumatologist, who recommended another course of intravenous immunoglobulin treatment with Octagam. In previous years, the Health Fund for Children of Armenia supported Grigor several times by providing this costly medication, which significantly improved his condition.

The total cost of the medication needed for three months of treatment is 5,184,000 AMD. This amount is beyond the family’s means.

The support of all of us is extremely important for Grigor. It will allow him to continue the treatment he needs, ease his pain as much as possible, and reduce the burden on his father, the sole caregiver of three children, who is doing everything he can for his son’s health.
