45-year-old Lilit is currently fighting cancer. Although the disease had been developing for around three years, she only learned her actual diagnosis in July of this year.

At the moment, Lilit urgently needs a PET-CT scan so that doctors can assess the course of the disease and determine the next steps in her treatment. The examination costs 400,000 AMD.

Because of the ongoing chemotherapy treatments, Lilit’s veins have been severely damaged, making intravenous infusions increasingly difficult for her and further complicating the treatment process.

Lilit does not have health insurance and cannot cover the necessary medical expenses on her own. She lives in a rented home with her mother and brother. Before becoming ill, Lilit worked and helped support her family, but today her health no longer allows her to work, while the cost of treatment has become a heavy financial burden for the family.
