About

3-year-old Susanna is a cheerful and lively little girl. She attends kindergarten and loves singing, dancing, drawing, and playing with her friends.

In July this year, she developed a high fever, runny nose, and cough. The fever would go down and then rise again, and over time she also developed signs of dehydration and significant weakness, which led to her being taken to the hospital.

At first, Susanna was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection and started on antibacterial treatment. However, because of the recurring fever, thrombocytopenia, and the epidemiological characteristics of the area where she lives, doctors carried out further testing. As a result, Susanna was diagnosed with visceral leishmaniasis.

This disease requires timely and appropriate treatment. Susanna needs Ambisome, which costs 350,000 AMD, an amount her family cannot currently afford on their own.

Let us help Susanna receive the treatment she needs in time, recover, and return to kindergarten to sing, dance, and play carefree with her friends again.
