About

Meet Serge Kechichian, a Lebanese-Armenian who has settled in Armenia with his family. Unfortunately, due to serious financial hardship and his father’s health problems, Serge never had the opportunity to study. From a very young age, he had to work in order to cover the medical expenses of his father — who underwent several major surgeries and lost his ability to work — as well as to provide for the family’s needs.

The devastating Beirut explosion took away his family home and, with it, his hopes for a peaceful life. Seeking safety and stability, Serge and his family came to Armenia, their homeland, with the hope of finding peace.

Yet Serge’s challenges are not over. Because of severe knee problems, he cannot stand for more than a few hours at a time. His father’s ongoing medical expenses make it impossible for him to afford tuition fees. But with your support, Serge can receive alternative education, gain a profession, and begin working.

Serge is ready to rebuild his life. He only needs the chance. With your donation, you can give him that opportunity — supporting his education, his work, and a dignified future.
