About

When Varduhi first came to the Emili Aregak Center, she struggled to connect with the world around her. Living with cerebral palsy meant that words often failed her—but music and art became her voice.

Through patient work with her music therapist, Varduhi discovered she could sing. After countless hours of practice, she proudly performed in several festivals—a moment her family never imagined possible. Art therapy also helps her navigate emotions she can’t always express in words, creating space for healing and growth.

Her mother, Karine, has worked as a cleaner at Aregak since the day we opened in 2008. “Aregak has really been a lighthouse,” she says. “Here, Varduhi began to socialize. After a whole lot of effort, we achieved amazing results.”

Varduhi is one of 55 children who rely on these therapies every week. For many, art and music are not optional—they are the only ways to connect, communicate, and heal.

But this life-changing work depends on your support.

Your donation will fund three months of art and music therapy, helping young people like Varduhi find their voices and feel seen. Give today—and be part of their transformation.
