About

After graduating from a military university in Russia, Robert returned to his homeland and made the decision to serve in Artsakh.

There, he built a family with Arpine, serving as a paratrooper captain in the army.

During the 44-day war, Arpine lost her father, while Robert miraculously survived.

The blockade began as the family was expecting their second child.

On July 21, Robert returned home from duty. But on the morning of July 23, his condition suddenly worsened, and he passed away unexpectedly.

Pregnant and with a one-year-old son, Arpine—through the support of the Red Cross—transported Robert’s body and laid him to rest in Vanadzor, his birthplace.

A few months later, Rita was born, bringing light and strength back into Arpine’s life.

By donating today, you will support this family for the next six months and stand by Arpine as she raises her children alone during this challenging time.
