Meet David — a little expert on whales. We can say with confidence that he knows more about them than most of us do. Bright and knowledgeable, he nevertheless struggles to integrate into society because of his hyperactivity. It is hard for him to focus, to make friends at school, or to play freely with children in the yard. A hyperactive child quickly shifts from one thing to another, asks many questions without waiting for an answer, and loses interest just as quickly.

Everything changed when David started attending the Mayri Center. The therapies and group activities there helped him make friends and learn to connect with them, while specialists worked on developing his focus.
