Many of you surely remember this lively and cheerful girl. Last year, thanks to your support, we were able to provide Marieta with the expensive medication she urgently needed, stabilizing her condition and allowing her to continue treatment.

In September 2024, Marieta was diagnosed with systemic-onset juvenile idiopathic arthritis. She is currently under the supervision of the rheumatology department at Arabkir Medical Center. Over the past 3–4 months, she has developed facial swelling, and recent blood tests have shown decreased levels of certain immune-regulating proteins. This may be associated with hereditary angioedema or a similar immune disorder.

To establish an accurate diagnosis, a specialized medical examination is required. The total cost of this test is 268,000 AMD. Unfortunately, the family is unable to cover this expense on their own.

Marieta is the fourth child in her family. She is in the 4th grade and especially enjoys Armenian language and environmental studies.
