About

Anahit is 36 years old. At the age of 32, she fell from a tree and lost the ability to move independently. For the past four years, she has been fighting to walk again and to continue living her life as independently as possible.

On this path, taking part in the Challenge Camp became a deeply important experience for Anahit. For the first time, it gave her the chance to organize her daily life without the help of family members, connect with people going through similar struggles, make new friends, and feel that even in this situation it is possible to keep moving forward, find new strength, and believe in her own abilities. Most importantly, during the camp she was able to overcome obstacles and fulfill dreams that had once seemed physically impossible to her.

In her own words:
“Give your thoughts to the universe and wait for them somewhere in the distance — they will definitely come true. Horses are my element. I had ridden twice before, but after the fall I waited with even greater longing for the moment when I would be able to do it again. I lived through indescribably happy moments thanks to the wonderful team of the National Leadership Institute.”

Today, you can help Anahit continue overcoming the limitations placed in front of her.

This fundraiser will support not only Anahit’s participation in the camp, but also that of three other people living with disabilities.

Let us help Anahit and the others who share this same struggle receive this important opportunity and the psychological support it brings.
