Many of you may remember little Mikayel. A few months ago, together we helped him undergo an important genetic test and receive the platelet concentrate he urgently needed to stabilize his condition. The test results gave doctors the information they needed to clarify his diagnosis and design a more targeted treatment plan.

At this stage, Mikayel is in remission, but to achieve full recovery, he now needs a bone marrow transplant.

His father is currently being considered as a possible donor, but before that, a genetic test must be carried out to assess mutations associated with familial hemophagocytic syndrome.

The cost of this genetic test is 198,000 AMD — an amount the family is unable to cover at the moment.

Despite the long and difficult treatment he has already gone through, Mikayel remains calm, smiling, and strong. But this journey has been extremely hard for his family, and right now they need our support.
