Asthma is a manageable condition, but for some, it can manifest in more severe forms, leading to frequent flare-ups and instability, which negatively affects overall health.

15-year-old Alex is one of those young individuals battling severe asthma.

Since 2014, he has been under medical supervision at the "Arabkir" Medical Center’s Republican Pediatric Allergology Dispensary, regularly receiving necessary therapies. However, despite continuous treatment, his asthma remains difficult to control, with frequent exacerbations.

Alex requires hospitalization 3-4 times a year despite preventive treatments. To prevent these frequent flare-ups and stabilize his condition, he needs a medication called Omalizumab, which costs 260,000 AMD per dose, administered monthly.

Thanks to your support, Alex has been able to receive this medication several times and continues to do so with the help of the Health Fund for Children of Armenia. This treatment helps prevent unexpected asthma attacks and keeps his condition stable.

Alex has big dreams. After graduating high school, he aspires to study at Yerevan State University of Economics and fulfill his dream of becoming a talented and accomplished dhol drummer.
