About

Meet little Kataleya. She is only 9 months old, yet she has been struggling with serious health problems since the day she was born.

On the second day of her life, Kataleya developed dermatitis. She was weak, had difficulty feeding, and received the necessary treatment. Then, from the age of 2 months, she began having seizures, and until 6 months old she was treated with anticonvulsant medication.

Today, Kataleya is experiencing poor weight gain and global developmental delay. She also has chronic dermatitis: there is a blister-like rash across her body, and pigmentation has appeared in the areas where the rash had previously been.

According to her doctors, Kataleya needs genetic testing to confirm or rule out hereditary metabolic disorders. This examination may help doctors understand the true cause of her health problems and determine the most appropriate course of treatment.

The cost of the genetic test is 198,000 AMD.

For Kataleya’s family, this amount is a serious burden, yet the test is needed as soon as possible in order to clarify the next steps in her treatment.

Kataleya is a very smiley little girl. She especially loves playing with soft toys and going for walks with her beloved older sister. Her smile gives strength to the family to keep going and do everything they can so she receives the help she needs.

With your support, little Kataleya can undergo this important test and move one step closer to the right diagnosis and the treatment she needs.
