The girl in the photo is 16-year-old Zarine, who was forcibly displaced from Artsakh along with her family.

Zarine has been diagnosed with neurogenic bladder and kidney failure. Since 2017, she has undergone regular hemodialysis treatments.

Today, her condition is critical and requires an urgent kidney transplant, with her father as the donor.

The total cost of the surgery is 6,500,000 AMD, of which 4,000,000 AMD will be covered by the Ministry of Health of Armenia.
The remaining 3,110,000 AMD is needed to cover the surgery, immunosuppressive therapy, and blood products—an amount far beyond what her family can afford.

Zarine dreams of becoming a hemodialysis nurse to help other children like her. Her biggest wish is to one day return to Artsakh.
