Arpine’s husband, Robert, returned to his homeland after graduating from a higher military academy in the Russian Federation and made a conscious decision to serve Artsakh.

There, in Artsakh, he built a family with Arpine while serving in the army as a captain in the airborne forces.

During the 44-day war, Arpine’s father was killed, while Robert miraculously survived.

The blockade began when the family was expecting the birth of their second child.

On July 21, Robert returned home from his post. But on the morning of July 23, his health suddenly deteriorated, and he passed away unexpectedly.
