On September 25, Ina’s mother Arevik was at home when a powerful explosion shook a fuel depot. Knowing that Ina’s father had also been at the site, she rushed to the hospital. In the final stage of her pregnancy, she witnessed scenes of immense pain and tragedy.

Weeks later, DNA testing confirmed that Ina’s father, Hrant, had lost his life as a result of that tragic incident.

Forty days later, Ina’s baby brother was born. He was named Hrant, in memory of his father.

Today, Ina attends the Hayordi Support Center, where she receives psychological and social care.
