Grisha Balayan began his military service after the April War of 2016.
On October 23, during the most intense days of the 44-day war, he was killed by a drone strike in the Martuni-2 position area while trying to help his wounded friends.

Grisha’s wife and their two young sons were left alone.

In 2023, the family was forcibly displaced from Artsakh, once again going through a painful and difficult journey.
Today, they live in Armavir, in an apartment purchased with state support.

The family managed to renovate the apartment on their own.
But it is still empty.

For this apartment to become a real home, it needs furniture and basic living conditions.
