About

The boy in the photo is 10-year-old Yuri. He enjoys going to school, even though studying does not come easily to him. In his free time, he loves playing with cars, drawing, and spending time with his friends and four sisters.

Yuri’s health problems began in the first days of his life. At one month old, after numerous examinations, he was diagnosed with congenital tubulopathy. This is a disorder affecting the kidney tubules, which can cause the body to lose vital substances through urine, including salts, potassium, calcium, and other electrolytes.

Since 2016, Yuri has been under the care of the nephrology department at Arabkir Medical Center. As a result of his condition, he has also faced developmental, speech, and hearing difficulties. Yuri wears a hearing aid and works with specialists, and thanks to this support he has already made significant progress.

He now needs to undergo a genetic panel test for congenital tubulopathies. This will help clarify the genetic cause of his condition and provide important information for planning his future treatment, including a possible kidney transplant.

The cost of the test is 198,000 AMD.

Sensitive and loving Yuri and his family need our support today. Let us help make their difficult journey a little easier and help Yuri undergo the examination he needs.
