Today, we want to introduce you to 10-year-old Emma, who is now fighting for her health.
In October 2025, Emma was diagnosed with a tumor on her thoracic vertebra (T4) and spinal deformation. Since then, she has not been able to attend school and must remain on strict bed rest — walking or even sitting could cause further damage to her spine.

To prevent her condition from worsening, an urgent surgery is needed to remove the tumor and stabilize the spine with metal implants.

The cost of the implants and the necessary histological and immunohistochemical examinations amounts to 2,220,000 AMD, a sum far beyond what Emma’s family can afford. The operation itself will be performed under the state healthcare program.

Emma loves painting and dancing — and dreams of becoming either an artist or a dancer once she recovers. Her mother is raising two children alone. The family does not own a home and currently lives in a small rented house. Emma’s biggest wish is to get well soon, return to school, and see her mother smile again.
