Aleksandr is a curious, energetic, and lively little boy. He loves dancing and playing sports, but today he is unable to do so because of his illness.

In 2023, Aleksandr was diagnosed with chronic immune thrombocytopenia. After the diagnosis, he received various treatments at the Yeolyan Hematology and Oncology Center, where he is now under continuous medical supervision.

With immune thrombocytopenia, the body’s protective immune system mistakenly begins to destroy its own platelets, the blood cells responsible for stopping bleeding. The disease is dangerous because, if left uncontrolled, it can cause life threatening bleeding. It may appear suddenly, even after a common viral infection, and can last for years.

Aleksandr’s condition can be kept stable with the expensive medication Revolade, which he must take daily on a regular basis. Through this fundraiser, together we can provide Aleksandr with a supply of medication for several months.

Aleksandr loves playing engaging games, asking endless questions, and learning something new every day. He dreams of becoming a doctor or a police officer so that he can help and protect people.
