Hayk was born during the 2020 war, just four days before his father, Vahe Karamyan, was killed. After learning of her husband’s death, Hayk’s mother, Shushan, set out to say her final goodbye to him. Tragically, she also died in a car accident on the way.

Hayk and his two siblings were thus left without their parents at a very young age. Today, their grandparents have taken full responsibility for their care, surrounding the children with love over the years and doing everything they can to provide them with what they need.

This year marks a new and important stage in Hayk’s life: he is starting school for the first time. We want to give him the opportunity to attend a private school where, in addition to education, he will receive support with his schoolwork, access to the specialists he needs, and meals, all within one complete and secure learning environment.

For his elderly grandparents, covering all the educational needs of a first grader while caring for three children every day is a major challenge. The cost of one year of Hayk’s education and the necessary services is 1,000,000 AMD.
