During the days of the 44-day war, Arthur and Ani’s youngest daughter, Mane, was born. Arthur learned of her birth, but he never had the chance to see her. Two days before the end of the war, on November 7, Arthur was killed. He was laid to rest in his hometown of Martuni, which the family was later forced to leave in 2023.

Today, they are trying to begin again in Armavir. With support from the Government of Armenia, the family was able to buy an apartment. But it is not yet a home. It still needs to be furnished and made into a dignified living space for the family of a fallen hero.

As part of the “Building Homeland Homes” program, we are launching this fundraiser to help create a complete and welcoming home for this large family.
