Meet Rima, a calm and thoughtful 17-year-old girl whose last six months have been an exhausting fight against a chronic and painful condition — eosinophilic asthma.

This illness causes persistent coughing and severe breathing difficulties, and Rima has been hospitalized multiple times in critical condition. Standard treatments provide only short-term relief, and once the dosage is lowered, the symptoms return in full force.

To stabilize her condition and stop the illness from progressing, doctors have prescribed a vital medication — Mepolizumab. Rima needs to take it once every four weeks for a full year. Each dose costs 326,400 AMD, and we need to raise 3,916,800 AMD to cover her treatment for one year.

Rima is a gentle, intelligent young girl who loves dancing — but because of her illness, she had to give up her favorite activity. Her dream is to get better and return to the dance floor. She also loves animals and hopes one day to support children in need herself.
