Artyom and Avet are brothers by blood. Their father, Erik Aghajanyan, was killed on the very last day of the 44-day war, when their mother was pregnant and expecting the birth of their little sister.

Upon hearing the devastating news during pregnancy, her condition worsened, and that same day she gave birth to a baby girl, whom she named Erika, in memory of her father.
