Dear friends, many of you already know 2-year-old Robert and have generously supported him. We are continuing the fundraiser for his treatment.

Robert was diagnosed with intracranial Ewing's sarcoma. After undergoing surgeries and eight rounds of chemotherapy in Armenia, doctors recommended continuing treatment with proton therapy in Saint Petersburg — a treatment currently unavailable in Armenia.

At the MIBS Medical Center in Saint Petersburg, preparatory therapy has already begun. However, Robert’s condition has recently worsened. Fluid has accumulated in his brain, causing dangerously high intracranial pressure — a life-threatening development.

Robert now urgently needs neurosurgery — a ventriculoperitoneal shunt — to relieve the pressure and stabilize his condition. This unexpected but vital operation is necessary to proceed with his planned proton therapy course.

The surgery costs an additional 1,500,000 AMD (approx. $3,800).

Robert is a calm, cheerful little boy and the second child in his family. He loves playing with toy cars alongside his big brother.
