About
Many of you may remember Max. With your support, we were able to provide him with treatment using very expensive medication when his health suddenly deteriorated.
In October 2025, Max was diagnosed with a rare condition — Evans syndrome. In this disease, the child’s immune system mistakenly begins to destroy his own blood cells, causing serious immunological complications.
Further genetic testing revealed a pathogenic mutation, and Max was also diagnosed with immune dysregulation, a condition that can lead to recurrent autoimmune damage to blood cells.
Doctors have now recommended long-term immunomodulatory treatment with the biological medication Enbrel. The drug must be administered once a week as a subcutaneous injection under medical supervision.
A 9-month course of treatment — including the medication and hospital-administered immunotherapy procedures — costs 1,980,000 AMD.
Unfortunately, Max’s family cannot afford this significant expense on their own. But the cost of treatment should never stand in the way of a child’s recovery.
Let us come together once again to help Max receive the treatment he needs, so he can continue going to school, playing his favorite football, and spending time with his older brothers and friends.
