About
Many of you already know 1-year-old David. Thanks to your support, he has received his first round of immunotherapy. But his fight against cancer is not over yet. David still needs nine more doses.
In June 2024, when David was just six months old, his mother noticed swelling in his abdomen and immediately took him to the doctor. The diagnosis came quickly—neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of childhood cancer.
Since then, with the help of the City of Smile Foundation, David has been receiving treatment at the Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Armenia. He is the only child of a family displaced from Artsakh. His mother was pregnant during the forced displacement, and the family had to leave their home in Stepanakert. David was born in Yerevan in December 2023.
Over the past year, he has undergone multiple treatments: surgery, chemotherapy, autologous stem cell transplant, proton therapy, and maintenance care. The cancer is currently in remission, but to ensure full recovery, David must continue with immunotherapy.
The cost of the medication (one vial of 20 mg Dinutuxumab beta) is about 3,500,000 AMD. This fundraiser aims to cover the cost of his second vial.
Together, we can save David’s life. Donate today and help him grow up healthy and happy.
