About
Meet 7-year-old Mikayel, who was born with a rare condition called hyperinsulinism — a disorder that affects the metabolism of the pancreas.
His health can only be stabilized with a medication called Proglicem, which he has been taking since he was 9 months old.
To provide Mikayel with an 8-month supply of medication, we need to raise 400,000 AMD.
Unfortunately, this medicine is not available in Armenia, and the family has to go through great difficulty to order it from abroad.
Without Proglicem, Mikayel experiences seizures — and if not treated in time, they could lead to coma.
This year, Mikayel successfully completed first grade. He also attends a rehabilitation and learning center. He loves drawing, playing outside with his friends, and spending time with animals — especially cats.
He enjoys building towers with LEGO bricks and creating things with his imagination.
Your support can help ensure Mikayel’s treatment continues and safeguard his health.
