About

Arpine’s husband, Robert, returned to his homeland after completing his higher education in Russia, determined to serve Artsakh.

It was in Artsakh that he built a family with Arpine, serving in the army as a paratrooper captain.

During the 44-day war, Arpine’s father was killed, while Robert miraculously survived.

When the blockade began, the family was awaiting the birth of their second child.

On July 21, Robert returned home from his post, but on the morning of July 23, his health suddenly worsened, and he passed away unexpectedly.

Pregnant and with their one-year-old son, Arpine — with the help of the Red Cross — transported Robert’s body and buried him in Vanadzor, his birthplace.

Months later, little Rita was born, bringing Arpine a light of life and strength to go on.

By donating today, you will support this family for the next six months and stand by Arpine as she faces the challenges of raising her child alone.
