About

Since 2014, Ashot has served in the Defense Army. Over the years, he honorably went through three wars.

After the ceasefire of the most recent Artsakh war, Ashot returned from the frontline and, together with his father, went out to find fuel to evacuate his little daughter and family from Artsakh.

An explosion at the fuel depot left Ashot trapped under the rubble. Burned and severely injured, he somehow managed to escape, while his father also suffered burns.

The soldier who had served his Homeland for nine years lost his leg and the palm of his hand in the blast, while the fingers of his other hand are no longer functional.

Within just one year, Ashot has undergone 13 surgeries—and the road to recovery is still long.

Because of his injuries and current physical condition, Ashot is unable to work. That is why we have decided to support him in standing on his feet again.

For the next five months, Ashot will receive 50,000 AMD each month to cover essential needs. He has been under the care of the Hayordi Foundation for a year now, and this monthly support carries great meaning for him and his family.
