About

Lili is only three months old, yet she has already been through an extremely serious medical ordeal.

When she was just two months old, intestinal bleeding was detected, and she was admitted to Wigmore Hospital. After receiving treatment, Lili was discharged three days later. But just a week after returning home, her condition worsened again: she developed vomiting and diarrhea, and the baby was taken back to the hospital.

At first, Lili was treated in a regular hospital ward, but on the fourth day of her hospitalization, she developed a rash. The tests carried out at that point showed a sharp drop in her platelet count, and she was immediately transferred to the intensive care unit.

Further examinations confirmed that Lili had a cytomegalovirus infection. Thanks to prolonged treatment, doctors were able to achieve positive progress in her condition.

This infection can affect the liver and the central nervous system. In Lili’s case, it led to fluid accumulation in the abdomen and signs of liver failure. Despite everything, with treatment she was able to overcome that extremely critical stage.

Today, Lili continues her treatment journey and needs the support of all of us.

We sincerely thank everyone in advance who will reach out a helping hand to little Lili and support her further treatment.
