About
Support the newborn children of fallen Armenian heroes.
The goal of the 'Hayordi' Foundation's 'Mayrenik' program is to support mothers who are raising their children alone—children who were born after their fathers’ tragic deaths.
From the moment of loss, the 'Hayordi' Foundation has stood by these mothers, from the difficult stages of pregnancy to childbirth, providing them with essential supplies, clothing, and care items.
Thanks to the generosity of compassionate fellow Armenians, they receive a monthly allowance of 50,000 AMD, which helps cover the basic needs of their children. The program also addresses other needs of the children, such as clothing, medication, and more.
By supporting this project, you will help many children of fallen soldiers and their mothers.
There are many stories, and one of them is presented below:
Mariam's brother and husband were at their posts on September 19 when the war broke out. Mariam's husband, Arsen, was on the front line when their first child, Alvina, was born on September 22. Miraculously, on September 24, both men returned home safely, and on the same day, they brought little Alvina home from the hospital.
On September 25, Arsen and his comrade Zhoka went out to find fuel. Hours later, there was a deafening explosion. Both Mariam's husband and brother were killed.
Mariam wandered the empty streets of Stepanakert searching for her brother and husband while also trying to find food for her newborn. Her search was in vain, and meanwhile, the enemy had already reached the outskirts of Stepanakert. Mariam left Artsakh on September 29.
One month later, DNA analysis confirmed the loss of her loved ones.
Alvina saw her father for just one day, and they didn’t even have a family photo together.
Join the 'Mayrenik' program and support families like Mariam's.
