The Harutyunyan family lived in the border village of Machkalashen, near Amaras. Following the tragic explosion on September 25, the family lost their father.

Today, the care of the four underage children has been fully taken on by their grandmother. She is alone in carrying the responsibility of their daily lives and needs. The youngest child is 8 years old, and the oldest is 16.

For the family, the explosion became a double tragedy: on that same day, besides Seda’s son, her grandson was also killed.

After losing everything, the family went through the painful road of displacement and eventually settled in Armenia. With state support, Seda was able to purchase an apartment and renovate it with her own means, but it is still unfurnished and lacks the basic furniture and household items the family needs.

Today, the family has a home, but it still does not have the conditions needed for everyday life.

Within the framework of the “Կառուցելով հայրենի օջախներ” program, we aim to support this family by furnishing their new apartment and creating the necessary living conditions for the children.
