Ani Harutyunyan is only one year old, but she has already gone through a life-threatening struggle. She was not even one month old when she was given one of the most devastating diagnoses — acute leukemia.

Ani is under the care of Wigmore Medical Center. She has already gone through the most difficult phase of treatment: her family spent 10 months in the hospital, living through continuous treatment, procedures, fear, and hope. Today, Ani is back home, but her treatment and medical follow-up are still ongoing.

Because of the illness and the treatment she has received, Ani’s immune system has become severely weakened. She now urgently needs treatment with 5 g of Octagam. This medication helps protect her body from infections, which at this stage can be especially dangerous for her.
