On September 19, when the war reached the village of Sarushen, five year old Areg was at kindergarten.

During the fierce fighting for the village, Areg tragically lost his father, who was a firefighter and rescuer.

After enduring a painful journey, Areg arrived in Armenia together with his mother and younger brother.

For two years now, Hayordi has been standing by their side.
