About

Norik Mkrtchyan served in the army for 14 years as a reconnaissance sniper. He was killed in the 44-day war, leaving behind his wife Armine and their two young children.

After losing her husband, Armine continued raising the children on her own and supporting the family. But in 2023, they were also forced to leave their native village. Following the forced displacement, the family changed homes several times, trying to rebuild a stable life.

Finally, with their own savings and support from a state housing program, Armine was able to purchase an apartment.

However, the new home still lacks the basic conditions needed for comfortable living. The children do not have proper beds, necessary storage, furniture, or other essential household items.

Today, the family finally has a roof of their own, but it still needs to become a home.

As part of the “Building Homes” program, we are launching a fundraiser to provide the apartment with the necessary furniture and household essentials.

Let us help Norik’s children finally have a safe, comfortable, and dignified home where they can live and grow.
