In the photo is Rafael, a kind, determined, and bright young man who, sadly, cannot move forward toward his dreams right now because of serious health issues.

In 2024, Rafael was diagnosed with immune thrombocytopenia. He is under ongoing follow-up care at the Pediatric Department of the Hematology Center. After receiving the necessary treatment at the time of diagnosis, he began taking Revolade to keep his platelet levels stable.

Immune thrombocytopenia is a dangerous condition in which the body’s immune system mistakenly destroys its own platelets, which can lead to life-threatening bleeding. The medication is vital for Rafael because it helps prevent these complications.

We need to raise 1,250,000 AMD to provide Rafael with a six-month supply of the medication and ensure that his treatment continues without interruption.

Rafael especially loves playing football and dreams of one day being at Spain’s Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. He also enjoys watching great movies and making delicious pizza for his family and friends.
