We are Kenrar
The Kenarar Foundation was established in 2024 by Martha Khosrovyan, driven by the belief that every child — no matter where they live — should have the opportunity to learn, grow, and build a future within their own community.
The idea was born during the hardships of the 2020 war, when it became clear that the security and strength of the homeland start with an educated, thoughtful, and purpose-driven generation.
Based on this conviction, the foundation’s mission is to support children and youth in Armenia’s rural areas by addressing educational, cultural, and social challenges that hinder their growth and discourage them from staying in their communities.
Our Mission
Kenarar Foundation aims to:
● Support the educational development of rural children in Armenia
● Shape a healthy, independent-minded generation dedicated to the growth of their communities
● Identify and nurture the potential of youth through education, culture, career training, and value-based development.
Our goal is to create opportunities that make life in rural areas a source of empowerment — not deprivation. We want living in a village to be seen not as a barrier, but as an opportunity to create, thrive, and become agents of change.
We believe that true community development happens only when children see their future right where they are — in their own village.
Our Vision
We envision an Armenia where every child, regardless of geography, has full access to education, personal development, and the ability to find their place and purpose within their community.
