We are AMAA
The Armenian Missionary Association of America (AMAA) was created by the Armenian Evangelical Church on June 7, 1918 in Worcester, Massachusetts. Immediately after the devastating earthquake of 1988 in Armenia, the AMAA, just as the whole world, worked tirelessly to relieve the pain of those affected by the earthquake by providing food, clothing, medicine, and medical equipment. In 1991, after the independence of Armenia and following the registration of the AMAA in Armenia, AMAA Armenia headquarters opened in Yerevan.
AMAA Armenia works with communities to build a strong educational, moral, and spiritual foundation in people’s lives throughout Armenia and Artsakh, inspiring them to become upstanding members of society.
